Schladming Planai will kick off its ski season this coming Sunday! The snow cannons were fired up last Monday at 5 in the morning on the Planai, and this Sunday (November 23) the winter season will open in the Styrian capital of skiing. 	612 Snow Machines on the Planai & Hochwurzen are working around the clock! 612 snow machines are employed at the moment since yesterday. Around the top station is already a base snow layer. Schladming’s Planai starts the winter with a €23 million investment As from today 117 kilometers of piste and 53 cable lifts stand ready on Schladming’s 4-mountain ski circuit. Construction of the Planai parking deck with an additional 457 parking spaces immediately next to Planai Stadium finally relegates the stressful search for Schladming parking space to history. Planai visitors now have 1200 parking spaces at their disposal immediately next to the lifts.  -> more
